Dear Colleagues,
We would like to inform you that registrations are now
open for the joint AAI-UZI
congress, which will take place in Cagliari from 16 to
19 September 2025.
Preliminary program
As anticipated in the first circular, the program
includes common sessions on topics of topics of
broad interdisciplinary interest, at the opening and
conclusion of the congress, and parallel
sessions focused on themes specific to anthropology and
zoology.
At the end of the congress (Friday afternoon),
participants may reserve a guided tour of a
university museum, the Botanical Garden, or the
Molentargius Park.
The preliminary program is shown in the attachment and
on the dedicated page:

balance the higher-than-usual travel expenses.
Registration includes conference materials, coffee
breaks, and lunches. The social dinner will
have an additional cost of 50 euros.
Registration for the Congress is only available through
the link on the congress website.

discuss all the different lines of active research,
each participant may present one contribution (oral or
poster) and may co-author additional
contributions. The selection of contributions and their
attribution to the session and to the
category 'oral communication' or 'poster' will be
handled by the scientific committee. A second
abstract (poster only) may also be submitted, subject to
approval by the scientific committee and
available space.
Posters will be displayed in ample spaces, with
dedicated discussion sessions. Short summary
videos may also be submitted for periodic display during
the conference. Prizes will be awarded
to the best posters, in the areas and according to the
rules detailed on the website.
he abstract must be in English, not exceed 2,500
characters (excluding title and affiliations), and
comply with the guidelines on the website. Contributions
may be submitted for joint sessions, or
for those proposed by AAI and UZI, regardless of the
scientific society to which they belong.
Abstracts must be submitted through the website by April
23, 2025
( https://www.congressoaaiuzi.it/iscrizione/invio-abstracts/
).
Accommodation recommendations
The conference website includes a page dedicated to the
venue, where information on different
types of recommended accommodation and any discounts
dedicated to conference attendees will
soon be included ( https://www.congressoaaiuzi.it/sede/
).
All information in this circular is available on the
official conference website
